Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
